This was the first cargo terminal to be built at Dubai World International Airport, offering six parallel runways and capable of handling A380 aircraft. As part of Dubai Logistics City (DLC), the cargo terminal is waving its own ambitious banner as the world’s largest freighter airport and logistics hub. The airport is 10 times the size of the current Dubai International Airport and Dubai Cargo Village combined. It consists of a 34,056 square metre ground floor, a 7,073 square metre mezzanine floor, and a total project area of 41,129 square metres.
